Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 16, 2026

PhotoPile is a private, local-first photo review app developed by Emre Karakaya.

This Privacy Policy explains how PhotoPile handles information when you use the app.

Summary

PhotoPile is designed to work locally on your iPhone.

Photo Library Access

PhotoPile asks for access to your photo library so you can review photos, screenshots, and videos inside the app.

Your photos and videos stay on your device. PhotoPile does not upload, store, sell, share, or analyze your photo library on any external server.

Deleting Photos

When you confirm deletion inside PhotoPile, selected items are moved through Apple Photos’ normal deletion process, such as Recently Deleted.

PhotoPile does not permanently erase items directly. Recovery options and retention periods are handled by the Photos app and iOS.

Data Collection

PhotoPile does not collect or store:

Third-Party Services

PhotoPile does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or cloud storage services.

Children’s Privacy

PhotoPile does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if PhotoPile’s features or data practices change. Any updates will be posted on this page.
