Common Questions

Does PhotoPile upload my photos?

No. PhotoPile works locally on your iPhone. It does not upload your photos or videos to a server.

Does PhotoPile collect analytics or track users?

No. PhotoPile does not use analytics, ads, tracking, or user accounts.

What happens when I delete photos?

PhotoPile uses Apple’s Photos system to move selected items through the normal deletion flow, such as Recently Deleted. You should review all selected items carefully before confirming.

Can I recover deleted photos?

Recovery behavior is handled by the Photos app and iOS. Check the Recently Deleted section in the Photos app if you need to recover an item.

Why does PhotoPile need photo library permission?

PhotoPile needs photo library access so it can show your photos, screenshots, and videos for review.

I found a bug or have feedback. What should I do?

Send an email to support@photopile.com with a short description of the issue. If possible, include your iPhone model, iOS version, and what you were doing when the issue happened.
